Introduction
Seegene Medical Foundation is a clinical laboratory in KOREA that provides over 4,000 test services for clinical practice and research in all fields including routine laboratory tests, molecular diagnosis, diagnostic pathology service, clinical research to nation-wide hospitals, and clinics.
To provide standardized test results anywhere in the country, Starting with the Busan-Gyeongnam Center in June 2014, Seegene Medical Foundation has initiated operating the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Center in January 2020, the Gwangju-Honam Center in June, 2020, and the Daejeon-Chungcheong Center in February 2022.
To combat COVID-19, Seegene Medical Foundation is conducting the largest number of tests in Korea. It is operating ‘Seegene's Mobile Lab’, an on-site testing facility that can perform one-stop molecular diagnostic testing for COVID-19 from sample collection to reporting results. And it is also operating a center for ‘COVID-19 Test for Travelers’ to manage and control the infectious disease.
For more reliable and advanced tests, Seegene Medical Foundation is committed to R&D, and operating Molecular Diagnostics Research Institute, Immune Research Institute, R&D Center for Clinical Mass Spectrometry, Artificial Intelligence Research Team.
In addition, Seegene Medical Foundation is conducting medical volunteer activities not only in Korea, but also in Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kenya.
